Better Together (“we”, “us”), operated by Lee Jarvis, runs this couples’ health app. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. Contact: btcoupleshelp@hotmail.com.
Account: your email and authentication details.
Health & fitness preferences: activities you like, fitness level, equipment, schedule, intensity, training goal, and — optionally — injuries/limitations, gender, age, and bodyweight. Optional fields are clearly marked.
Activity: habit, workout, and meal logs; challenges; check-ins and notes; streaks.
Purchases: subscription status and identifiers from our payments processor (we do not receive your full card details).
Device & usage: app version, device type, crash diagnostics, and product-analytics events used to improve the App.
To provide the App: build and store your plans, track progress, and share effort-level updates with your linked partner.
To generate AI plans: see Section 4.
To operate subscriptions, provide support, fix crashes, understand feature usage, and keep the App secure.
To build a personalized workout plan, we send the relevant preferences you provide — which may include injuries, limitations, and optional body data — to our AI provider, Anthropic, which processes them to return a plan. We send only what is needed to generate your plan.
We do not sell your data, and your fitness data is not used to show you third-party ads.
Linking with a partner shares only effort-level information: whether and when you completed habits/workouts, durations, shared goals, and similar signals. Your private preferences, injuries, body data, and personal notes are owner-only and are never shown to your partner. This is enforced at the database level.
We share data with processors that run the App on our behalf, under their own security and privacy obligations: Supabase (database, authentication, and backend functions), Anthropic (AI plan generation), RevenueCat and Apple (subscription processing), Sentry (crash and error diagnostics), and PostHog (product analytics).
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account in the App (Profile → Delete account). Deletion runs on a 30-day grace period — sign back in within 30 days to cancel it; after that your personal data is permanently removed.
Some records may be retained where required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes. Billing records are held by Apple.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can delete your account in-app, or contact us at btcoupleshelp@hotmail.com to exercise other rights.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The App is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Your data may be processed in countries other than where you live, including by the providers listed above. We rely on appropriate safeguards where required.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified in the App, and the effective date shown above will be updated.
